Weddings
We have provided sound production for many wedding ceremonies and receptions from intimate gatherings in a private backyard to larger venues, including the Keystone Links and Port Hope Golf and Country Club. For all weddings, I work with clients extensively beforehand to plan the best playlist, organize requests, and discuss the schedule for the event. We also look at sound and lighting equipment requirements and talk about how to keep the crowd engaged and ready to party throughout the reception. Everything is organized down to the last detail, including first dances, individuals involved, and favourite songs. I look forward to working with you on customizing the audio for your next wedding event! We'll make it a wedding to remember!
Anniversaries and Parties
Parties are also a lot of fun to DJ. We've worked with clients for this type of event at venues all over the Durham Region, Ontario and within Canada for a wide variety of different age groups. We have good knowledge of music from the decades and can work with you to make sure we're playing a selection that fits the mood you'd like to create. We encourage requests from the audience and also take song dedications to get everyone at your party out on the floor. Aside from anniversaries, we have also hosted birthdays and promotional events, always trying to find unique ways to make sure that the guests of honour are in the spotlight in a celebratory way. Let me know about your next party, and we'll come up with activities and a playlist that will keep your guests entertained.
Trade Shows and Corporate Events
We have also provided sound production and emcee services for several multi-day events, such as the annual summer art show in Newscastle, Ontario. We can work with your team to coordinate performers, provide a background track that will help to create a great atmosphere, and make sure that the planned schedule for your event is carried-out accurately. These events also provide a wonderful opportunity to interact with your audience and we can help you carry-out any contests or promotions that you've got running during your event with precision and engagement. Past clients include Mucho Burrito, Newcastle Art Show Inc. and the Bright Eyes Dog Rescue group.

Planning and Customization
We'll work with you well in advance of your event to create the ideal playlist and discuss song requests you and your guests are interested in having played. My playlist covers all genres and decades, so I can play a selection of songs just for you!
Fun Commentary and Event Host
In addition to excellent music, I also make announcements and host games during your party. Just let me know what the audience needs to know and I'll incorporate your message into the entertainment lineup.
Experience
I have years of experience hosting events, providing DJ services, and also currently producing a show on the Internet station Oshawarocks.com, featuring music and information segments. With a background and education in Radio Broadcasting, I also bring skills in managing playlists and announcing to your event. I studied at Fanshawe College in London, also leading the college's campus radio stations, CFRL and CIXX-FM, in a student-training capacity.
